Bissell Agitator Brush Assembly 2032449

The bristle on the brush roll are important in the cleaning effectiveness of your vacuum.  The bristle digs into your carpet to remove dirt and groom your carpet.  The end caps on the brush roll hold it in place within the vacuum and are not removable. Worn or damaged brush rolls should be replaced to maintain the cleaning performance of your vacuum.  See your manual for proper and safe replacement of the brush roll.
